Olivia and Josh's wedding was nothing shy of perfect. I think their day is a testament to authentic weddings, candid moments, and intimate celebrations really working out in everyone's favor. Here's why...

They chose to rent an Airbnb on the water for the weekend, and decided on only having their immediate families there. It was 10 people, including the two of them, and then I made 11... and of course we have to include Bonita, their sweet pup, who absolutely counts as 12. The officiant was Olivia's brother, which just adds to the overall intimacy and sweetness of the entire celebration. The entire experience was so intimate and personal, laid back and go with the flow. I appreciated their flexibility with the abrupt change in weather, as a hurricane effected the coast while we were on the Albemarle Sound here in North Carolina. We moved the ceremony to inside the living room and rearranged furniture with the help of their families, and it was just as beautiful, and I think those photos just capture the realness of these moments; that not everything goes to plan but it can still turn out great. And following, despite the rain and incredibly high winds, we decided it would be perfect to take some photos out by the water, and you can absolutely feel everything through the photos, and it totally captures the entire ambiance of the day. It feels wild and free, and I think everyone will be able to see how in love Olivia and Josh are. Editing this gallery truly brought so many smiles to my face, and full transparency, even tears.

When in doubt, tiny wedding it out!

Congratulations to the Tenenbaums!
